The Welcome Call is One of the Little Things All Network Marketers Must Do
H2 - sub title (adjust "weight")
The welcome call is a small thing to many network marketers but an effective tool affirming the decision of the prospect.
Immediately upon recruiting a new member onto your team, your first event task is the welcome call with at least one other successful leader of their support team or upline.
The welcome message as simple as. “Welcome new distributor. With me is XYZ on OUR team above us. I am going to let him speak about what we do and expect from you.”
Let them know they have a support group who will be with them all the way through. Introducing the new and often skeptical recruit to people in your upline makes the business more real to them. You want the new distributor immediately meeting other people on your team. So, always edify the upline leaders.
The call should not be 5 – 8 minutes. The upline on the welcome call with you should address the following:
- Tell their story.
- Ask for their WHY.
- Paint the vision for the company and for the new distributor.
- Explain about home meetings.
- Explain about the tools used by the company and how to use them.
- Promote training classes and events.
- Edify all the leaders on the team.
Be a call advisor with every new distributor welcoming them onto the team. It lets them experience they are part of the team and have the support of a team.
It builds trust and breaks down the wall of skepticism. The welcome call is the right call for your new distributor. It builds relations.
The welcome call is the important call. The new distributor’s feeling of uneasiness is calmed. His skepticism resolved and he knows his decision is right. Make the call welcoming the new distributor to the team and be exceptionally glad you did.
