How to Get People on Social Media to Ask You About What You Do!
I think most of you would agree and want to know about how to get people on social media to ask you about what do you do.
When they ask you what do you do, they have raised their hand. They are curious about your opportunity, products or services.
Building curiosity is the key on social media for getting new leads, signing up new reps, selling products and services, and creating a team.
One of my favorite teachers Jessica Higdon teaches us the correct way on how to get people on social media to ask you about what do you do.
The whole point is to get people asking about what do you do.
I want to share her insights today.
There are three ways for getting people curious about what do you do.
- Value posts.
- Pictures and image quotes.
- Stories and recognition.
Value Posts.
Value posts are something you have learned from a training, a book, an event and then share it on social media.
The key is to Invest, learn, and teach.
Invest in books, DVD’s, training material, events, webinars. Learn from them. And be compelled to share what you have learned with others to help them.
I post value posts all the time. My blog is one big “value post” after another.
Give people on social media some tip, trick, strategy and technique which helps them do their business… not your business but their business. It will attract huge followings.
For example, go to my Facebook page and the latest value post at the time of this writing is “Down with Student Loan Debt and Getting Out of the Red.” I speak of tips and tricks for relieving student loan debt. I then offer Network Marketing as a great solution for resolving it… not the only solution but as a great solution. And I don’t mention my Network Marketing company anywhere in the post.
Write one value post a day and include a picture or video and post it in every Network Marketing group that you belong to.
You should have at least 90 – 100 Network Marketing groups on Facebook to which you belong.
Pictures and Image Quotes.
A great tip on how to get people on social media to ask you about what do you do is with images and pictures.
(1). Take a picture of something expensive with you in it with your thumbs up. It can be an expensive car, house, or designer suit.
In the post, say,
“It’s so cool I finally don’t have to look at price tags anymore thanks to my home business.”
Or, if you are new to the business and have not reached to the point where you don’t have to look at price tags, say this:
“It’s so cool I now have the vehicle that allow me to afford this, thank you (name of you sponsor) for introducing me to a better way.”
(2). Take pictures of you on vacation, at a nice restaurant, someplace where you visit and nice with this caption:
“Having a blast at (Name of Place) and still getting paid.”
Or,
“Having a blast at (Name of Place). Isn’t it cool we earned this vacation for free.”
Or,
“Isn’t it cool we can go this restaurant and not have to worry about the price.”
(3). Take a picture of you with nice scenery in the background and this caption in the post:
“Welcome to my office.”
(4). Image quotes are a great way on how to get people on social media to ask you about what do you do.
Google a famous person and use their quotes. When Google comes up with their name, click “Images” under the search bar and you will find tons of image quotes.
Upload the image quote with this saying:
“I use this strategy/tip/trick/though process all the time in my line of business.”
Then tell them a short story with something personal and intriguing about the tip, trick or thought process.
Stories and Recognition.
Speak about people in your downline who have rank advanced or done something great for the community.
Add their picture and praise them.
Add This Call to Action with EVERY POST.
The call to action is most important and without it, many people won’t do anything about your post other than read it.
You must tell them what to do.
Here are two calls to action:
“If you’re finding yourself curious about what I do, go ahead reach out to me through Facebook messenger and I will be happy to talk with you and send some information.”
Or another type of Call to Action:
“If I can show you how to ___________, would you want to see it?” Type YES below and I will show it to you.”
An example is
“If I can show you how to earn $3500 on social media in the next 45 days without paid ads, blogging and videos, would you want to see it? Type YES below and I will show it to you.”
Another example,
“If I can show you how to 8 pounds in 5 days without going to the gym or exercising and keep it off for good, would you want to see it? Type YES below and I will show it to you.”
Let’s build curiosity by knowing how to get people on social media to ask you about what do you do and applying it.
