In honor of Memorial Day, I would like to reflect on what this means for those of us who are in network marketing.

What is Memorial Day and why do we celebrate memorial day?

Most of us will likely associate the memorial date of May 30, 2017 with a day at the beach, BBQ’s, trail hiking, or a picnic at the park.

Memorial Day history began with Congress. The 1rst Memorial Day was originally chosen by the United States Congress honoring veterans who sacrificed much for our freedom.

It was not until 1968 that congress passed the Uniform Monday Holiday Act, which established Memorial Day as the last Monday in May, and went into effect in 1971

Honoring veterans on Memorial Day, it was enacted through the Uniform Monday Holiday Act in 1968 and went into effect as law in 1971.

One interesting Memorial Day facts is the Memorial Day meaning has its roots in “Decoration Day,” a holiday proposed by General John A. Logan, the leader of Northern Civil War Veteran’s Association.

General Logan stated, “The 30th of May, 1868, is designated for the purpose of strewing with flowers, or otherwise decorating the graves of comrades who died in defense of their country during the late rebellion, and whose bodies now lie in almost every city, village and hamlet churchyard in the land.”

In honor of Memorial Day, we give thanks to those who laid down their lives for our freedom.

The USA is truly the home of the free because of the brave. The brave men and women who steadfastly fought our nation’s wars both at home and abroad with many dying in town and fields that we have never heard of and may never know.

Memorial Day and Network Marketing

What does Memorial Day mean for network marketing?

 It means freedom.

It is freedom to make your own choices which deliver you from mounting debt.

It means freedom to make this day the very last day that you ever have to work for a meaningless job and choose your own means for making a living without constraints with your time and financial security.

It means freedom to enjoy the life which was granted to every individual by God and is made possible with network marketing.

So, in honor of Memorial Day we approach this day with gratitude for the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom to make choices.

In honor of Memorial Day, we give thanks for the freedom to choose our own way and make our dreams to come true because many people made sacrifices for us that makes this possible.

What do we celebrate in Memorial Day? We celebrate the free and unbridled ability to choose because others chose to sacrifice themselves for our right to make choices.

To all the soldiers and veterans living and dead, we salute you for your honor and your bravery.
