Social Media Training; Prospecting Conversations that lead to Recruiting in Network Marketing
Most people that prospect on social media have no clue at what to say. And good social media training on the conversations to have is hard to find.
Here is a typical conversation on social media in Network Marketing.
“Hey John, thanks for connecting with me. Are you open to another stream of income?” To which the prospect replies, “No.”
Why? Because we don’t speak to that part of the prospect’s brain where “YES” decisions are made.
Social media training in today’s world operates on the faulty premise that cognitive thinking in the conscious mind is where the decisions of “YES” and “NO” are made.
The truth is ALL DECISIONS are made instantly in the subconscious mind. And when Social media training learns the language that speaks to the subconscious mind, it will help people in Network Marketing reach more prospects who will say “YES” than “NO.”
There are certain words and phrases that speak to the subconscious mind, and there are certain words and phrases that do not. Whether it’s Facebook training, Twitter training or LinkedIn training, we must use certain words and phrases to attract people.
“Well, you know how…” is a phrase that speaks to the subconscious mind. “Well, you know how your upline keeps telling you to draw up a list of 100 names of your friends, relatives and associates to start your home-based business?” Notice how you nodded in agreement. So will your prospects.
“Well, let me tell you what happened to me” is another phrase that grabs one’s attention. It FREEZES the prospect’s brain and makes them lean forward because it indicates a story is forthcoming
“I just found out…” is another phrase which causes the prospects’ brains to FREEZE and take notice. “I just found out how we can get 47 leads a day on social media with 5-7 signups a week, and it works for me and it will work for you too.”
“Would it be okay,” and “if that’s okay,” are two more phrases that are native to the subconscious mind.
Social media training also lacks a way of getting the message through in our prospects’ subconscious minds. What if you could give a one-minute presentation to your prospects? Would that get the message in their subconscious minds? Yes, it would.
Just ask any prospect, “Would you like a short one-minute presentation or a long 30-minute presentation?” Most prospects will say they want the short one-minute presentation… in fact the number is 99.99% that will say they want the shorter version.
Why do prospect’s like the shorter version? Because the subconscious mind likes small doses of information to make instant decisions. When you give the subconscious mind what it wants in small doses, you will have 100 out of 100 prospects listen to your presentation and gladly receive your message. We’ve just shot up our chances of reaching our prospects by 100%.
Remember, we want to get our message through in the prospects subconscious minds. Once they’ve heard the message, they can make an intelligent decision if this is something they’d like to pursue or not.
Social media training should teach the social media marketing tools that make it possible to do Network Marketing rejection free and with the greatest percentage of prospects hearing the presentation. Our jobs are to get “YES” decisions. And we can’t get “YES” decisions until our message gets inside the prospects’ brains.
What do we want to put in our one-minute short version? Just enough information for getting our message in the prospects’ subconscious minds to make a “YES” decision… or not. We want to let them know what kind of business we are in. We want them to know what they have to do in this business to earn the money, and how much money they can make.
How do we introduce a one-minute presentation? By speaking with trained words. “I can give you a complete presentation, but it would take an entire minute. When could you set aside a whole minute?” That is different. It makes prospect to relax. It is an affirmation to their subconscious minds that we are going to give them small doses of information.
Three other phrases in social media training that speak to the subconscious mind are “Everybody knows” and “I’m just curious,” and “if you were to have an extra income with our business, how much extra income would you be looking to earn?” “Everybody knows that if we don’t do something different, we’ll be 85 years old, still working, holding the same dirty coffee cups. I don’t want that and neither do you. “I’m just curious, if you were to have an extra income with our business, how much extra income would you be looking to earn?”
Social media training won’t be the same when it teaches people how to speak the native language of the subconscious mind. So online marketing courses… pay attention!
Putting the Script Together
Let’s put together all our words and phrases learned so far in a social media Network Marketing SCRIPT that works.
Here is a script that can work well on Facebook for those people who are in MyLeadSystemPro (MLSP).
YOU: “Thanks for connecting with me. Well, you know how your upline keeps telling you to draw up a list of 100 names of your friends, relatives and associates to start your home-based business? (Wait for the prospect to answer).
YOU: “Well, let me tell you what happened to me.” I struggled for years, wasting time and money preparing senseless lists, prospecting my friends and relatives repeatedly and coming up short time and time again. I struggled desperately to find the inside secret of how to make (Network Marketing, my home-based business, or direct sales) work. I searched the internet and finally figured it out it. I just found out how we can get 47 leads a day on social media with 5-7 signups a week, and it works for me and it will work for you too. Would it be okay if I showed you how?”
YOU: “Awesome, I can give you a complete presentation, but it would take an entire minute. When could you set aside a whole minute?”
PROSPECT: “Sounds good to me. I have a minute now.”
YOU: “Here is my number (000-000-0000). I can call you to give you the one-minute presentation, if that is okay?”
PROSPECT: “Sure, here is my number (000-000-0000). (Call them immediately).
YOU: “Hey (First Name). Thanks for taking my call. Everybody knows that if we don’t do something different, we’ll be 85 years old, still working, holding the same dirty coffee cups. I don’t want that and neither do you. I’m just curious, if you were to have an extra income with our business, how much extra income would you be looking to earn?”
PROSPECT: “$5,000 a month.”
YOU: “Awesome. If you want to become the top earner in your company and put an extra $5000 a month in your pockets, you need to do these four things:”
“Number one: “Don’t change. Be yourself. Continue to recommend and promote the things you like such as your favorite websites or marketing tools. After all, you’ve been doing for quite a while, and you are a natural at it.”
“Number two: We are in the business of affiliate and attraction marketing, WHICH MEANS we help people attract fresh leads daily, get sales and sign-ups weekly and grow their businesses monthly by leveraging the power of the internet using our online educational software and training affiliate programs taught by the top earners and leaders in Network Marketing, Retail and Direct Sales.”
“Number three: All you have to do is this: Find 10 people a day on social media that are in Network Marketing, Retail and Direct Sales and share with them our online educational software and training affiliate programs at ‘10 for 10’… a 10-day trial for $10.00. Over the next few days, weeks, months and 7 months from now, you will accumulate enough people upgrading our educational products and affiliate programs from trial to permanent that you will earn an extra $5,000 a month.”
“Number four: Then at the end of one year, you can decide to quit your job or continue to recommend and promote attraction marketing and our affiliate programs and earn more money than you can at your job.”
“And that is it. That is the whole explanation. What do you think?”
And here is a one-minute presentation for social media training in wearable technology,
“If you want to earn an extra of $5,000 a month over the next 6 months working just a few hours a week, you need to do these four things.”
“Number one: Don’t change. Be yourself. Just continue to recommend and promote the things you like, such as your favorite sports drinks and health bars. After all, you are an expert at it already… you’ve been doing this your whole life!”
Number Two: We are in the wearable state-of-the-art technology business, WHICH MEANS people wear our digital bracelets every day to be leaner, stronger and faster. Our technology maximizes the body to heal and get stronger at a quick rate for an active youthful lifestyle. Everybody knows the more oxygen and water that you pump into your cells during and after an active day at work or play, the stronger that the body gets and faster the body heals. Our technology ensures the body is hydrated properly by monitoring it with a fashionable wristband worn by hundreds of thousands of people around the world.”
“Number three: All you have to do is let people your age know that they can either give up and feel old or try our bracelets and continue to look and feel young repeatedly, just with better judgment. Talking to people you know or meet in public or through social media, over the next six months, you will accumulate enough customers wearing our bracelets every day and people following us into the business that you will earn $5,000 or more a month… that will at least make a nice down payment on a home or buy a new car and a dream vacation!”
“Number four: If you keep going, after a year or so your income will be more than you earn right now at work, then you will have to decide if you want to keep your job or spend half the time just sharing our wearable technology!”
“That is it, that’s the whole explanation. What do you think?”
