How to Create a Swipe File

Let’s learn how to create a swipe file for any profession on social media. Learning how to create the ultimate swipe files for professionals will make you a lot of money.

First, call them by their first name. If you are on Facebook, acknowledge their first name and the name of the Facebook group and the content of the post that you saw.

“Hey Sally, I was perusing Work from Home Mom and Dads group on Facebook and saw your post on looking for 5 motivated individuals.”

If you are on LinkedIn, you only have to acknowledge their first name.

“Hey John, I was perusing my connections and see you are in my network and good at teaching young minds all the studies for what it takes to get a job and get through life.”

Second, compliment them by what they do in their profession. Teachers teach, and Network Marketers promote and recommend things.

Third, use an old saying. Why? When uses the phrase “an old saying,” it freezes the prospect’s brain and they find themselves agreeing with an old saying. When you can get the prospect agreeing with you, you have won half the battle. Getting the prospect to agree with you and see the world through the same lens that they see the world builds rapport and trust.

Fourth, ask them a question about their profession. “So, I’m just curious, what made you choose the teaching profession over all the other professions that are out there?” To get any professional engaged on social media, you must ask them tiny questions. People love to brag on themselves. What better way for them to begin to brag about themselves than to answer the question about why they chose the profession that they chose.

Fifth, Swipe #3 is where it gets right to the point. At this point we must point out the problems of their profession. And we must offer them an alternative solution from benefits with our Network Marketing business. And the best way to show the problem with the benefits is with the power phrase, “There are two types of ________ in the world.” When you give prospects the two types of people in their profession, the prospect’s brain freezes and pays attention.

With Swipe file #3, you need to know something about the profession. And if you don’t know about the profession, make Google Search to be your friend. Simply find what the profession does, find the downside of the profession, and use benefits from your Network Marketing company to offer alternative solutions.

And most important. Always ask a question at the end to get the prospect engaged. And what better question to ask than to ask, “Is this something that you would like to know more about?”
